Sleep

When sleep changes after 40.

Magnesium, cooling sleepwear, sleep tools, and quiet routines — for women whose nights have gotten lighter.

Sleep products for women over 40 are the second-half answer to a question that doesn’t come up at twenty-five. The body still needs sleep; the body has stopped being good at it. Cooling sleepwear, magnesium for evening routines, blackout shades, weighted blankets, sleep masks — none of these solve the underlying biology, but the right ones can quietly shift the conditions in your favour.

We cover sleep products at Level 0 (comfort, routine — cooling pajamas for warm nights, weighted blankets, sleep masks) and at Level 2 (consumed products with physiological effects — magnesium, melatonin). The line is whether the product affects your physiology or only your comfort. Magnesium gets a medical disclaimer; cooling pajamas don’t. Read our medical disclaimer for the full risk-level frame.

We don’t cover prescription sleep medication, hormone replacement therapy for sleep symptoms, or any other topic that requires a clinical relationship. Those questions belong with a clinician.
